Founded in 1884 in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, Breitling has built a 140-year reputation on chronograph precision for aviation, diving, and military use. The brand pioneered the slide-rule bezel with the original 1952 Navitimer — a complication still hand-built into current production pieces — and remains one of the few independent watchmakers still manufacturing its own in-house movements today (Calibre B01 and family, introduced in 2009).
A Breitling chronograph is one of the most complex mechanical instruments a watchmaker can service. The vertical clutch and cam-and-lever arrangement in the B01 family, the chronometer-grade tolerances (COSC certification on most models), and the brand’s safety-conscious pushers require specific tooling, training, and parts. We service the entire Breitling current catalogue plus most vintage references.
At our Kuala Lumpur workshop, we follow Breitling’s manufacturer service procedures for each reference, use genuine Breitling parts or OEM-equivalent components for older pieces, and pressure-test every serviced divers’ watch. Every service concludes with timing regulation on a Witschi Proofmaster S timegrapher and a 24-month warranty on parts and labour.
